Lake Liepāja Nature Reserve
With support from the GrassLIFE project, 105 ha of grasslands around Lake Liepāja will be restored, along with a further 150 ha through mobile grazing.
SIA “Rukši” will carry out the following activities:
- Regulation of grazing intensity
- Control of reed expansion
- Stump and tussock milling
- Reduction of accumulated dry biomass
- Control of invasive species
- Introduction of characteristic coastal grassland species
- Provision of grazing services
